It's 4 AM. |
My name is Rebecca. I am just an average girl, and I cannot represent myself in words.

I just made this really decent sandwich: buttered both sides of 2 pieces of potato bread, pan fried them a bit, microwaved some frozen meatballs, then chopped them up into pieces and threw them into the pan to finish, pulled out one piece of bread to cool for a bit and get a light spread of roasted red pepper hommus, and set some swiss cheese to melt on the other. Then I threw it all together. Yum.
What I’d do differently next time: Considering toasting the bread in stead of pan frying, or alternatively.. lighter on the butter.. Slightly more hummus.
Other ideas: Using a nice ciabatta or challah bread, potentially toasting in the oven; potato chips; home made meatballs or ground beef; use of feta.
I wish I could open a cafe.
So my mom and I have been working the same waitress job for 5-6 years now. She had been waitressing years before, but this is recently. Anyway, about… 15 minutes ago this guy she waited on left and told her to take care. Just that. Prior to this she had talked to him about Italy. Her people are from Florence, this and that, and she said she’s never been. She’s got 8 years of art education and she’s working a waitress job. It’s pretty… Sad and disappointing, I guess. Her and my father divorced 6 years ago and she hasn’t had a real job ever. Just been stuck in a small town she’s not from.
This man who we have never seen before tipped her 1000 dollars for a trip to Italy. Walked out, not another word.
…you know. Just when I start to lose faith in humanity….Hm.

My summer wish list includes:
I make a fabulous companion: great at cuddling, will watch tv with you for hours, love to experiment in the kitchen, great at baking, will bring you breakfast in bed, love random drives and long walks holding hands, always prepared to eat pizza, good sense of humor, lover of all quirks.
I would love to keep someone company this summer =)

For Emma’s five year old photos, her mother chose to dress her as five REAL amazing women she can look up to, who have helped tp shape the world she lives in.
